New Coca‑Cola HBC investment brings to Greece one of the largest SAP HANA installations in Europe. Infrastructure designing & installation, management & support of business warehouse platform, will be serving from Greece Coca‑Cola HBC’s operations in 28 countries.

Coca‑Cola HBC selected OTE Group for a 7 Million investment into a large-scale ICT project, the redesign and upgrade of the IT infrastructure which supports the SAP Business Warehouse application. The new project involves the installation of the SAP HANA environment, one of the largest of its kind in Europe, and the smooth migration from the existing SAP BWA, complementing the 2016 Data Center installation, bringing the total investment to €48 million to date. The project was successfully implemented and delivered by OTE Group, within the scheduled timeframe (4 months) and is in full operation, serving from Greece all 28 Coca‑Cola HBC countries.

The SAP HANA environment supports the operation of SAP Business Warehouse application, enabling the interaction between stored as well as real time data, accumulated from all operational company units. This way, data can be retrieved and combined faster, allowing quicker reporting.

OTE Group upgraded the IT infrastructure at Coca‑Cola HBC Data Center, in order to accommodate the installation and operation of the SAP HANA environment, and undertook the operation, management as well as technical support for 5 years.
