Τsakiris Chips

Tsakiris Chips is the first Greek brand that introduced chips category to Greek consumers, with a history that starts since 1954. Tsakiris chips are produced in Atalanti from 100% natural & carefully selected potatoes, and are distinguished for their unsurpassed crispiness, superior taste & high quality. These premium characteristics make Tsakiris Chips, one of the favorite brands of Greek consumers throughout the years.

Our diverse portfolio includes Tsakiris potato snacks, the first Greek crisps brand with a wide range of all-time favourites and innovative flavours and combinations.

Tsakiris addresses the consumers’ needs of all ages. The brand consistently invests in innovative & high-quality snacks that have a strong Greek identity, while selects excellent quality raw materials, adhering to international production standards.

George Tsakiris created in 1954 the first production unit of potato snacks, at the basement of his house in Athens, with very simple equipment of daily life. Potatoes cut & frying as well as their packaging take place by hand and G. Tsakiris by himself distributes the prepared potato chip to nearby open-air cinemas and bakeries on foot. Since then, Tsakiris Chips production went through many stages till 1997 when Atalanti’s plant is created, with new, modern and automated equipment that operates under strict hygiene and safety conditions till today. In 2004 the company became a subsidiary of Coca-Cola HBC and, since then, Tsakiris has widely expanded in the snack market, with new, innovative ranges.

TSAKIRIS STICKS CUP

In 2024, Tsakiris Chips commemorated 70 years of authentic moments, stories, and shared experiences, while also launching the first Tsakiris Sticks Cup Salt. The campaign was delivered through a multichannel approach with a strong Digital and phygital presence, increased reach and awareness while preserving the brand's legacy and confidently projecting a vision for the future.

In 2025, Tsakiris Chips expanded its phenomenal universe by introducing two exciting new flavors – Cheeseburger and Spicy Hot. Under the slogan “It´s a phenomenon”, the campaign targeted Gen Z through a TV run, complemented by a strong digital presence. This fresh, energetic campaign further strengthened Tsakiris 'connection with younger consumers, continuing the brand´s evolution in the modern snacking landscape. It showcased the brand´s commitment to innovation and cultural relevance, driving increased awareness and engagement among its target audience.

Tsakiris Sticks Cup received significant recognition at the Product of the year 2025, Packaging Awards 2025, Social Media Awards 2025, and Procurement Excellence Awards 2025, highlighting its innovation both in packaging and communication. These distinctions reinforce its position as a standout, modern brand in the snacking category.
